Meet Dr. Fundora

Marcel Fundora, DMD
Dr. Fundora was born in Cuba, where he studied and taught Fine Art Painting. At age 20 he moved to Florida, where he discovered his passion for dentistry while working as a dental ceramist for 14 years. He operated a crown and bridge dental laboratory in Miami, became a registered dental hygienist, earned a Master in Science degree in Biochemistry from Saint Joseph University, then pursued his DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Fundora graduated Cum Laude with awards for Clinical and Professional Excellence, Excellence in Prosthodontics, and Senior Student Award by the Florida Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Fundora is a member of the Florida and American Dental Associations, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fundora's compassion and care for others led him to volunteer extensively at public dental clinics throughout Central Florida, and international dental mission trips to Guatemala.
Dr. Fundora has worked in both private practice and corporate dental settings.
"Fundora My Dentist" opened its door to Clearwater and nearby communities to provide dental services in an environment that is both relaxing and safe for patients.
